Dr. Shanae grew up in Rockwall, TX where she graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School. She went on to attend Tarelton State University where she received a bachelors degree in biomedical science and was a scholar collegiate athlete on the women's basketball team. In May 2019, Dr. Shanae graduated from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry and came to work under her father at Lowrance Dental.

Dr. Shanae loves working with people and truly making a difference. Her passion for dentistry started in high school while assisting her father Dr. Stan on dental mission trips in Mexico. In the summer of 2018, she was given the opportunity to travel to Africa with 5 other dental students to provide dental treatment for the people of Ndola, Zambia while also helping train their dental students.

“Dentistry in general is about serving others. Alleviating a pain that someone cannot treat themselves has always been a rewarding aspect and reminder of why I do what I do. I strive to create family like relationships with my patients and provide the most comfortable environment possible.”

Dr. Shanae married her husband, Randall Henderson, in 2017 and they have a dog named Henry. She and her husband attend Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall where she is a small group leader for the high school girl’s ministry. Besides dentistry, Dr. Lowrance enjoys baking, crafts and spending time outdoors. She is also a current member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

"I was blown away by Lowrance Dental. From the moment I walked in my former anxieties about going to the dentist subsided instantly when I was greeted by the receptionist. Dr. Shanae was extremely thorough and explained every detail that needed knowing about in my X-rays! I feel like I am finally on the right track and more knowledgeable about how to take care of my teeth on my own! I overall felt like my teeth mattered and I wasn’t just “another patient"."
